My reward system is implemented throughout the day. However, I will give larger rewards at the end of the week, month and semester. Throughout the week students have the opportunity to earn coins for the treasure chest. They do this, by staying at the top of the chart by the end of the day. At the end of the week, students can spend their coins on prizes in the box. Rewards will be documented in the personal folders of the students. In this way, parents are able to see how successful their students are as well. Here is a list of rewards that students can earn in class:
Bean Jar, Monthly Prize Students who stay at the top of the chart all day will each have an opportunity to put a bean in the bean jar. At the end of the month, the amount of beans determines what reward the students will receive.
Brownie Points, Semester Prize Students will earn brownie points at the end of each week if they have shown good behavior. If not, students will not receive a brownie. When the whole pan is covered with brownies, students will get a batch of brownies for a day.
Kiss Your Brain, Daily Prize Kiss Your Brain will be given to students who make a remarkable comment, have a good attitude, or show positivity and focus.
The Treasure Box, Monthly Prize The treasure box will have an assortment of prizes for students to choose from. They can earn these points throughout the month.
